Carnival

I couldn't choose a shot to blip, so here you have the whole lot!

We spent a lovely afternoon with Luca and his family who live in Ostia, a seasid town, near Rome.

It is carnival time and the public squares are teeming with kids in costume, streamers, confetti, clowns and entertainers.

I was particularly impressed by the balloon man, dressed in green. Valeria and Max had a balloon each. Max's didn't last very long and he was given a second one for free becuase he was so flabergasted when it burst.

The day was both cold and sunny. No photos of Fabiana, my daugghter in law becuase she hates photos of herself. A thoroughly enjoyable day.
