British Night Champs

250 competitors took part in the British Night Orienteering Championships on the Ashdown Forest on Saturday. The organisers had been saying their prayers to the weather gods and it was dry and calm.

It was however very wet under foot and I went up to my knees in mud. I should have had taken a photo of my feet for you. I was on search and rescue duty. Hot chilli from Tom's Burger Van kept me going while we waited to see if everyone got back safely. Luckily for me no one got lost.
