Nothing happens here...

Grey day.

Came home from Glasgow this morning. What a drive. The winds were enormous and the rain was torrential. Fortunately it kept a lot of traffic off the roads I guess. That'll please the plonkers who repeat parrot fashion after every news report, "Don't travel unless it's necessary". I mean do they really think that some days we just jump up from our seats and proclaim, "This journey isn't necessary but I think I'll do it anyway, burn some petrol off, warm the planet".

Talking of ****heads (put your own prefix in) some of those out today really ought to have stayed at home. There was the clown in his red BMW who wanted to parallel drive with me down the slip road onto the M74 whilst trying to rub wing mirrors. I don't know what that was about but he turned off to Hamilton. Perhaps his carer lived there.

Another idiot looking for a village was Reginald Molehusband who decided the safest place to be in his little Peugeot in the storms was in the centre lane of the empty motorway doing about 45 mph without any lights on.

Even more dangerous and damned annoying were the dipsticks who were driving with headlights on main beam and fog lights blazing and high density rear lights blinding everyone and doing 90 mph plus one minute then jabbing their brakes on the next. Creating confusion.

Yes it was a fun journey. And whilst West Scotland is drowning, here on the east coast it's bright (not sunny) with light winds. God's Country I guess.
