White statue

In Hanley this morning I came across this figure. I don't know whether it was a Xmas thing or some other religious statement - there was no placard or sign. I took a few photos then put some money in her pot - I was only the second donor - and she cracked a lovely smile and 'blessed' me.

When I got the shot back into Lightroom I saw the almost exact placing of her face against the advertising model's face inside Boots ... how's that for some kind of metaphor? Answers on a postcard, please.
