dull & boring

Weather. Blips.

Fed up with grey, wet, windy, Scottish weather. Fed up with the unending media negativity about this year's referendum. That's part of the plan of course. Alienate voters from the process.

It will backfire, if I have anything to do with it.

I'd like a sunny day for a sunny Blip.

It wasn't a boring day. Way too busy for that. On my bike at 9:30 for the 2 hour jaunt over to West Wemyss and back.

Shower & quick snack, then into the car and over to Edinburgh. An hour in the bar (water only) giving an interview to a reporter from a big national daily newspaper. Not a British one, and hopefully that might lead to an open & balanced outcome.

Ice hockey in the evening. Capitals at home to Fife Flyers. An exciting local derby with a big noisy crowd. Frustrating outcome for Caps fans - lost 2-3, when they should have won it.

The Blip is from just outside West Wemyss, as I started home. A nasty rainshower almost blew me off my bike. I took shelter for a few minutes at a little picnic site.
