Opium

Great night out with my best friend.
First stop was Maggie Dicksons -where I realised the last time I set foot in this pub was on my 18th birthday half a lifetime ago!

Next was Opium the 'Alternative club bar' I always feel at home here (though sometimes feel a bit on the geriatric side) As you can see from the state of the table tops this isn't a bar for the more refined Edinburgh citizen.

Final stop was The Citrus Club, quieter than I have ever seen it. Was amused by a 35 year old who proceeded to tell me how I'd not like being as old as her (do the maths from the 'half a lifetime ago' statement!)

All in all a night that took years off me in more ways than one!
