Gate

A bit arty maybe:-)

But Pondy seems to be that kind of place. It's definitely got some weird enchantment about it, chaos and contradiction aplenty..lovely rundown colonial architecture..its a wonderful amalgam of cultures here..I can understand why you would want to live here awhile...maybe a bit too much ashram for my taste...

Another failed ticket queue, hours spent in coffee.com scribbling away in a demented manner; today's highlight Mozart's piano concerto 24.... and wandering about and ending up at goubert avenue again around sunset...watched a young indian gigolo (I admit to a certain cynical outlook at points. Even fluffy bunnies can have sharp teeth) charm the pants off a septuagenarian american from starting ploy until they wandered off into the crowded dusk hand in hand...then there was a free concert; some traditional music and dance after dark...lacking the truly odd it sounds so mundane...woke up, drank coffee, peoplewatched, ate...but it has been a truly delicious day in Pondichery, she even gets a capital P....

And tomorrow same again. Railway station for seven...though part of me is very tempted to chuck budget restrictions for a couple days and see if they have a room at the coffee place for a few days...I've never been good at decisions...and maybe I need a detour...
