T is for Trio of Blips

Went to Cammo Estate today, spent most of the morning wandering around and trying to take the carpet of snowdrops, and the snowdrops on the fallen tree, but can't get the contrast right in the camera so they all looked out of focus - another excuse to go back.

1st - Tree with tree wrapping itself around, and a Tunnocks' Wafer hiding there to show the size ;-) - really my picnic with a banana and hot lemon flask.

2nd - Thru the window of the squinty photo is a water tower, no longer used.

3rd - Tree trunk that's hollow, which is on the main pathway - the Ranger had a sign on this a few years ago reminding dog walkers that it wasn't a post box for doogy-poo bags.

Saw plenty of wildlife but not close, heard the woodpecker but nowhere to be seen, saw a nuthatch but looking upwards is hopeless with the camera.

Failed again to take a wee pic of the stone arch over the burn, def need the tripod the uno-pod still wobbled at 1.5 sec.

So really a good walk about, had to put gloves on so that tells you it ain't warm, but not so successful with the big camera - more walks - more practice. ;-)
