AOG - Aussies Secret is Out!!

Well let's face it, the AOG's are almost over and it would be impossible for anyone to capitalise on a bit of inside information at this late stage. Today we reveal the secret training headquarters of Team OZ. Set high in the hills outside Kiama (South of Sydney) is Saddleback Mountain and this has been the "Boot Camp" for many of the Aussie competitors for months now. You can just imagine what it's been like for them to wake up to such a sensational outlook morning after morning. They would have been totally inspired to get out onto the training track and work their little hearts out!. The scientific research that went into their nutritional requirements alone has been amazing.

It was a sensational sight today, standing at the Lookout Launch Pad and looking down onto the rolling hills. It was absolutely this lush and green. So different to many parts of Australia at the moment that are struggling with dreadful drought conditions.

For those competitors who needed some quiet time to reflect on life, they were able to attend the beautiful little St Mathews Church at Jamberoo.

Team OZ has done everything in it's power to look after and nurture their athletes and although Gold Medals have been a little thin on the ground, we've loved every minute of the AOG's, bring on the Summer Olympics!!
