Longslade Bottom

A panoramic view of a slightly flooded Longslade Bottom. Apparently, the hillsides were awash with streams flowing downhill to the normally little brook that runs down the middle of this little glade.

This part of the New Forest was my "backyard" when I was younger. Cycling out here from home on the coastline of New Milton. Of all the years I have known this area I have never known this glen to be awash with so much water.
