The in-between

It rained again, of course. I think we must have had rain almost every day for the last 2 to 3 months. However today, in between, there were some lovely moments like this.

It reminds me of the last time I saw a rainbow here on Ascot High Street, from the other end. It was moving day 7 years ago. I was in-between houses; in-between stages of my life. I had been rained on and hailed on and had been packing and preparing for weeks. Then out came the rainbow and I felt calm for the first time that day.
