Variation on a bhaji

I made chicken Korma for dinner this evening. I also made some onion bhajis and then decided to experiment with the remaining gram flour and a new snack appeared.

To the 200g of gram flour, I added two eggs, a portion of fresh mashed potato, a generous amount of grated mature cheddar cheese, a finely chopped green chilli, tsp of fresh garlic puree and lots of seasoning.
I wasn't sure if it would work, so added some more flour, to form a firm mash consistency. Using two spoons, I shaped quenelles and deep fried in hot oil at 170 deg. until golden.
Tasted one and will do again, yummy!
