Gozo Cathedral

Most of the churches in Gozo have a large dome, but unusually this feature is missing on the Cathedral inside the Citadel in the central city of Victoria.

On the inside a section of flat roof has been cleverly painted so that when you look up your eye is fooled that it is seeing the interior of an dome which is not actually there.
