Takeaway Ready Meal

At breakfast this morning, we watched this Sparrow Hawk tear a poor wee bird to pieces on a fence post in our garden. It ate a lot of it, then flew off with the remnants - probably to feed its family.
Another rainy day, but during a rare dry interval, my sister Christine ( 60 this year ) cleared a lot of weeds and other stuff from our garden - strange critter likes doing that sort of stuff, and who are we to try to stop her?
A lovely weekend, and only 1 more week of term before the holidays, when the sun will shine every day.
