...But it;s Wednesday!
A beautiful roast beef and Yorkshire pudding evening meal!
Something we associate with a Sunday dinner, and not a Wednesday tea!
We called to give our granddaughter J her birthday present, as we will be away for her birthday, which is on Sunday.
There was this wonderful smell of roast beef cooking, which MrC commented on, as it was Wednesday!
So our very , very kind daughter-in-law S. asked if we would like to stay for tea.
Said no at first, but she is very persuasive !
So here you have our plateful, including carrots, cauliflower, peas, broccoli, roast potatoes, and gravy.
Along with a nice glass of wine, and followed by rhubarb crumble and custard.
So I have to thank Jennie . Birthday girl.
MrC for being cheeky
Son A for buying the beef.
Our local farm shop for providing it.
But most of all Sarah for cooking it all. Delicious. xxx
