The Promises Tree @uninorthants

Today I was speaking to a group of 2nd Year Early Years' Development Under Graduates about resilience, trauma and recovery. I know my picture is really three pictures rolled into one but the tree would not really make any sense if you couldn't see what kind of messages were written on the notes that hung on the tree....

"To make every child I come into contact with feel loved, important, needed and valued."

The Promises Tree stands proudly in the foyer and is a part of an international campaign calling for an integrated approach to early childhood development to be included within the Millennium Development Goals’ succeeding framework post 2015....

Early Years Development is about as 'preventative' as it gets when considering the impact on the whole of society when it doesn't go right!
