the night before...

Tomorrow my eldest turns sixteen, for me quite a monumental birthday - but that could be a Kiwi thing? I remember my own sixteenth birthday very well, unfortunately not for great reasons (another story!) but I do remember how my life changed quite rapidly after then as my life turned even more so to my friends' company. As my eldest is doing now...sleepovers and parties, movies and gigs, it's all in front of her now.

So sleep tight tonight my child as you grow to become ready for what lays ahead - after all it is a great and wondrous journey. x
