Chinoiserie?
Post op day 13. A rest day! Last night/this morning my poor old muscles (with the emphasis on the old) let me know that in spite of me feeling fine during my walk yesterday they hadn't really liked it. So acting on common sense and the advice I had been given I have done very little today.
This meant an indoor blip, and finding something that CC hasn't already done (better than I could) isn't easy. However I don't think she has actually blipped this. On the landing we have a small corner cupboard which my wife inherited from a Great Aunt. This is a detail of the door decoration in a style that I think is call Chinoiserie.
Definition:
a decorative style in Western art, furniture, and architecture, especially in the 18th century, characterized by the use of Chinese motifs and techniques.
With regard to the rest of my progress, I am still doing the physio exercises, managing to give myself the Heparin injections and will gently take up my walking again soon.
