La Famiglia

So to recap:
I was pretty bummed that I couldn't join the MUNers last night. Espesh as I'd planned to go. They were on a boat. Grumpy, headachey evening at work but it went by quickly and when Mira and I were having a great dinner and catch-up at Pizza Express, I got a call from Daniel ("I'm on a boat!") telling me to meet them in Temple at 11.30... needless to say after a huge meal, cheeky latte, and being greeted by some very drunk, merry boys at the station, my headache disappeared without a trace!
Despite The Shoe Incident I'm so glad I met them - got home at 4 utterly sober and totally happy.

So today, after a few hours sleep I woke up feeling, well, FINE! How lovely. :)

And went to work not to work, but for a family lunch seeing as the great aunt and uncle were visiting... started my shift in good spirits. Still a bit fed up of this place but at least I got to see some of my favourite men, for a little while.
