A slice of Lesley's life

Life Lessons

Not taken that many pictures today but still hard to choose one for the day. The day has been a little all over the place. Not for want of planning. We met for breakfast and planned our day as much as we thought we needed to - ie when to head to the slopes and where to have lunch. Made it to the telecabina only to be thwarted by a closed ski resort due to 102 km/h winds. After hanging around for a bit we decided to do the only skiing option possible which was to walk up the final section of the run into the village and ski back down. Generally helped folks to find their ski legs as much as possible and nice to get on the snow but really hoping for some actual skiing tomorrow.

So dealing with disappointment we tried shopping which led to slightly more disappointment. Lunch and back to the hotel and the joyous news that the kids were allowed in the gym restored a little happiness. As did some chill out time. So gym and pool, followed by bar and Restaurante Morgan in the village and back to the bar for some more games room action and the day ended well.

With a few lessons in dealing with disappointment, making the best of a non-ideal situation and how to do a headstand under our belts.
