Winter sun on River Tay

The River Tay, near Dunkeld in Perthshire, was looking at its winter's best. Powerful, dark and foreboding, I think it lends itself to a black and white photograph, although truth be told there was little difference from the original.

We were in the area for a short break. The scenery, I have to say, was much better than the hotel we stayed in.
