Heron Preening

Another one in my Heron series taken again at the Marymoor dog park in Redmond Wa. It started out with a hint of blue sky and a glimmer of sun, only to turn quickly to rain showers and gray skies...almost dark black skies by the end of the walk. We met friend and their dog and so it was hooligans 3 today.

I was able to stalk and blip the Herons in the trees across the slough where they were either preening or looking for fish. By the time we circled back to the cars a couple had gone back to the nests.

The rest of the day was inside with catching up on the Netflix series of House of Cards and beginning to watch the new series two with Kevin Spacey. Very good and lots of political intrigue.
