Octavius
My plan was to do a quick blip and unplug the Mac and other associated gizmos before the power went off. I'm being cautious after losing the Time Capsule during the storm a couple of days ago. I turned them all off before the storm last night, and turned them back on this morning.
The forecast predicted another storm front this afternoon, and sure enough, the wind was getting stronger as I started blipping -- too late. I had start all over again on the iPad. Grrrr -- too many &$@$&$ trees around here!
We went to the Marine Life Center down at the harbor today, a smallish but interesting collection of tanks and an indoor pool.
Octavious, a 35lb/16kg Giant Pacific Octopus, is probably the most popular creature, but he's rather shy and tries to hide in the furthest corner of his tank. I had to go outside the building to get this photo. Shooting through several layers of glass is obviously not conducive to good photographs. The bright orb near the top of the photo is one of Octo's eyes.
See C's blip here.
