Put Away the Umbrellas, the Rain is Gone!

That is a joke - for a couple of reasons. First, we hardy folk in Oregon don't use umbrellas. We say things like, "We're not candies, we don't melt in a little rain." or "Rain, you call this rain?" In actuality, we don't use umbrellas because the "blankety blank" wind would blow the sucker inside out before you could even get it opened all the way! The second reason this is a joke is because, if you were a candy and you did use an umbrella, you would have wanted to use it again about twenty minutes after I took this picture!

That being said, I have to add that Oregon - rain or shine (and sometimes both) is one of the most beautiful places on earth!
