Soaking up the SUN.......!

What a glorious day! Sunshine all day without a hint of wind and NO rain at all!

It seemed that everyone was out celebrating, and not least in Richmond where we headed this afternoon. Traffic was very heavy and it took well over an hour to get there, but we found a parking place very quickly right by the river, which was exactly where I wanted to be.

The river was high and well over its banks in places, the current was strong and fast moving, and everyone and everything was just loving the beautiful day! Seagulls included!

My thoughts are still with those who won't have celebrated today. I hope this may be the end of the worst rain for many years.
