The long way home...

We decided to take the route home through London from Finchley today instead of the North Circular and that tunnel again. Only I think everyone else had made the same decision and it took a long time!

I love this route home and driving down the Edgeware Road and all its cosmopolitan variety. The Bus Lane got in the way of me photographing the hubble bubble pipe smokers and the colourful fruit shops but it was good to see Big Ben at 5pm still in relative daylight, and to see so many people making the most of a mild and dry day.
