Queens Park in Green

This simple shot perhaps shows the direction in which my art is taking. We're told at college to keep it simple and clean, look for the shapes, textures and juxtapositions in the picture.

So here we have a monochromatic reverse L shape composition, with the regular shapes of the fence counteracting the irregular shapes in the tree branches, and great texture in the tree bark.

Visited a fellow artist this afternoon, and was very inspired by his work. He works in textiles and acrylics, so watch this space for new creations in the next few months!
