Saved by a receipt

Totally forgot to do a Blip today, but was saved by a receipt. Every receipt gets documented with a quick photograph and then entered into Evernote against the property it was billed against. That way, if I lose one, we still have a record, plus we can get the receipt directly to my wife's computer if she needs it.

Rubbish day though. Didn't feel like doing anything, so I didn't. Called it a day and had a go at getting the Golf started again. Eventually managed to jump start it, but it's definitely draining the battery hard though. Good thing is that the car isn't leaking water anymore.

Then the day got worse. We looked at a 'compound' a few months ago (3 rental units), but there were problems with the deal (conditions that we couldn't meet), blah blah blah. Anyway, a few days ago the conditions had changed, we now qualified, and just as we put the offer, someone else put a better offer in. So disappointed. Had I known the seller had changed the conditions we could have had this sown up. Ah well. Disappointed.

There is one small glimmer of hope that I'm not banking on - the other buyer may back out. They aren't 100% right now. We'll know tomorrow or Monday.
