More logs

Given the problems with flooding that so many people in the South are suffering at the moment, I am lucky in that the village I live in is on the top of a ridge, so regardless of what the weather brings we are never going to be flooded. My house is towards the top of a hill into the village so the worst that I get is water running through the garden and off down the lane. However, the wind last night blew down a couple of ivy-covered dead trees in the lane by the side of the house, so my neighbour with his chainsaw and I with my new Boy's Toy set to work. Great fun and a small supply of logs; it's also opened the view up from my house a bit.
