Bubbles

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day in the traditional, cliched manner by sipping champagne. I seem to be incapable of drinking bubbly liquids without trying to get photos of said bubbles. Without proper (read studio) lighting it is a bit of crapshoot (sometimes literally), but I always try none-the-less. I whisked my glass out to the patio, worked on finding a neutral background (very difficult considering the color that surrounds us), and tried to focus on those slowly rising bubbles. Those shots were not too successful, but when I zoomed in later on this shot of the condensation I decided that I had something of interest. I tried it in black and white, but really liked the golden glow (or maybe that was just the residual from the champagne).
