New skills

Yet another back blip. Things are crazy busy at the moment but I'm still trying to take some photos when I can no matter how poor or un-inspirational!
So what did I do today? Hmmm. Oh yes! I started the day with a two hour run as you do. Then did more packing and dealt with a leaking washing machine; the washer was nearing the end of the cycle when I noticed a big pool of water trailing out from under the door. Panic ensued and lots of mopping but I found the cause - I must have knocked the water outlet when I was rummaging around for something. Big relief for me as I don't need the stress of having to deal with a broken washing machine.
Friends arrived for brunch feeling sorry for themselves as they're not used to Belgian beers (a night out in Brussels = hangover). The kids then made sure that they were as loud as possible! Babysitter then arrived who the kids love so that my self and hubby could go and do some decorating. We're trying our hand at a bit of wallpapering and we're pretty pleased with our efforts today as we managed to not mess it up totally and cut around the light fitting like professionals!

Home to kids and once they were fed and tucked up in bed we started dismantling large furniture that's not going to make another move. We had to enlist the help of a neighbour to help carry items outside ready for it to be collected and taken to the tip in the morning. A very satisfying job even if we didn't finish until just before midnight!
