CMA Memorial Run

The Christian Motorcyclists Association of South Africa, Midrand (Johannesburg) had their annual Memorial Run at the Biker's Church in Midrand today, to commemorate fallen bikers for the past year!

C&R snr attended, with their one dear friend from Zambia, Rudy. He still works for the same Company where he was R's General Manager, but his family moved back to SA a month before we did, which results in his travelling in and out of Zambia and to Australia, Head Office, frequently!

This beauty was shot at the Church, where many thousands of bikers and their families attended the Service this morning. The badge on the man's back is in fact, if I'm not wrong, the International Badge for the Christian Motorcyclists Association.

You can see a small part of the thousands of bikes parked outside the Church!

I will have to tell you the story behind this beautifully decorated bike!

We are passionate supporters of the 'Blue Bulls' Rugby Team, based in Pretoria, SA! They are the real rugby champions of 2009! They are the Super 14 Champions, played between 14 different teams from SA, Oz and NZ!

To top it all, they were the Curry Cup Champs for this year as well, which means they are the best in SA for the year as well!!

Fifteen of our Springboks are in fact Blue Bulls!!

The quote: 'ONS BLOED IS BLOU' painted on the black part is Afrikaans for: 'OUR BLOOD IS BLUE' ;-)

Note the pictures on the back part, below the seat, I think the artist who painted this bike did a marvellous job, those are real pictures of the crowds on Loftus Versfeld, which is the home rugby stadium of the Blue Bulls and the people around the Blue Bulls Logo, are pics of the players.
