On the ward

After a rubbish nights sleep I woke on the ward wondering where on earth I was! Went down for my ultrasound scan at 11am which immediately showed lots and lots of large stones in my gallbladder. The doctor came to see me shortly after and said I'd be going for the operation to take the gallbladder out this afternoon. So I waited... and waited and eventually they said it wouldn't be happening today and that I could eat and drink. Had some dinner, but that made me sick so my brothers went and got me chocolate milkshake which was yummy and I managed to keep down. Lots of drugs kept me mostly pain free but it was a long day of doing nothing.
