Filming at the St John's

When I walked to the tube this morning I was excited to see that they were filming something outside the St John's Tavern - the pub just down the road from me. But my hopes of bumping in to a famous film star were dashed when I learned that they were just filming a commercial for The Racing Post. As I seldom watch tv I'll probably never see it. And even if I did see the advert, I wouldn't buy the paper as I'm not interested in horse racing.
They were just setting up when I passed so nothing much was going on. I decided to blip the lighting umbrellas and the reflection in the window.
At least they picked a good day for the filming - sun and blue sky. Never ending storm supposed to return tomorrow.

The St John's Tavern is a fairly recently restored Victorian pub. It's got an excellent restaurant as well but not cheap so only for special occasions. I'm sure it will feature again in my journal at some point.
