Peasant Movement Institute
Visited the Peasant Movement Institute before heading back to Shenzehn today.
Here, a statue of Mao Zedong sits at a desk where the real Mao Zedong sat. Before the revolution, he was a lecturer there and also became the director in the late 1920s.
Our trip was short, but we got a general idea of the city for future visits.
The city reminded us a bit like Hong Kong, but cheaper. So, whenever we need a "Western Fix" during the next year, Guangzhou will be the place to go. It was fun to spend time with our friends who we hadn't visited with in a while.
We have two more days in Shenzhen before yet another vacation. I know, tough life.
We have a blip for yesterday as we did not have internet access at the hostel.
