Guangzhou

After an hour on a speed train, we arrived in Guangzhou (the capital
of Guangdong province) with our friends Jimmy, Cali & Jimmy's sister
who is visiting from the states. We checked in at our clean, nice
hostel and then decided to take a walk around the city- this picture
is what we were greeted with. There were many pedestrian-only shopping
streets just filled with people.

It was sort of a dreary-looking city, but definitely interesting. It has a lot
more history than Shenzhen (as does almost any city in China) and most
importantly- an Italian restaurant with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink
buffet. You can be sure we all over-indulged and loved every second of it!
