#12 Lease and Leach
DDW February Challenge #12 Lease and Leach
Both these archaic words come from The Dictionary of Archaic English Words and Phrases. The lease, or pasture, surrounds the leach in this photo. A leach is either a lake or a large pond, so this word is fitting because I'm not sure which one this is. We have been having mild temperatures, in the 50s, with strong winds and some heavy rain. Here at about 10 a.m. there was a bit of a respite, and right now it is almost balmy for a February evening. More rain expected tomorrow.
