Calm Before The Storm

The entire East Coast is bracing for the next Winter Storm 3.0. Or is it 4.0? I don't know; I can't keep track. All I know is that I'm sick of it. I'm SNOW over it! These orchids are my only hope of Spring. I'm amazed that they have survived long through the winter.

The roommates are out on a grocery run. The other one called in sick today. We are going to have a roommate meeting tonight to talk about the tension that has building up in the house for a while now. I'm also going to tell her that she needs to start looking for another place to live. I decided that I don't want her staying here while I'm away because I don't trust that she will take care of my place. She will need to be out by June or July at the latest.

For now, I am enjoying the peacefulness inside my house because tonight, there will be a storm brewing, both inside and outside! I miss my fellow neighbor, run club mate, and friend. I feel so alone in my own house right now. I need a hug.

We'll probably be snowed in until Friday, so we're most likely not leaving until Saturday morning to head down to my other house. It'll be nice to be with my family again though.
