I have the delight to announce that Heskeys Tekkers notched up our first WIN of the season against Porto Cabin. Our opponents are currently sitting bottom of the table & with tonight's result, they aren't going anywhere. We were without 3 of our regular line-up, but with late call ups for Laurence & Michael from Melbourne, Aus, we put out a full team & played a blinder. It was a resilient & positive game throughout from He-kkers, & goals from Jacky D & our new man Michael sealed victory. It was the perfect follow up to the enjoyable game we had last week, where we played really well as a unit & had a blast doing so.

A win for Heskeys Tekkers. 2 points on the board. A momentous occasion.

Winter Olympics highlight of the day - the Men's Snowboarding Halfpipe final was infectiously exciting & a fantastic & nail bighting contest. A shock to see Shaun White miss out on making Olympic history by getting a third consecutive Olympic halfpipe gold medal. It makes you want to hit the slopes & attempt the bonkers moves & hit the crazy heights that these guys are taking on as they hurtle down the halfpipe... maybe not.
