#11 Knap

DDW February Challenge #11 Knap

Knap (n.) bud of a flower (south)
From a dictionary of archaic English words.

Today I had back to back class and meetings with not much time to take pictures. One of my co-workers brought me a bouquet of beautiful tulip knaps, which I found waiting for me outside my door this morning. This is a shot of one of them on my office desk, in front of a bowl of origami stars made by one of my Korean students from long ago.
