Escape!
I am settling into a routine since coming out of hospital. I wake somewhere between 5:00 & 6:00 feeling very uncomfortable due to having spent the night flat on my back.
So I get up in to my raised chair ( I nearly said high chair but there is a blipper out there who would have made a comment). Then thank heavens for the winter Olympics! After an hour or so of that I have breakfast, do the first round of physio exercises and have a shower. Well truth be told it isn't yet a a proper shower. I sit on the bath board use the antiseptic shower gel the hospital provided and rinse myself off with the shower head.
At some point during the morning tiredness catches up and I go and have a lie down. Repeat the above after lunch. However as I become more active we try to fit in a little more. Hence yesterdays 2 trips down the garden.
Today clickychick suggested she take me out in the car so that I could get a blip. What a great idea! I think she might have spotted the first signs of "cabin fever". So down the road on to the old Keswick road. Park get out of car take photos. cross road take photos looking in another direction. Back into the car and on the way home stopped at Cocklakes farm shop (and cafe) for a cuppa. All in all a good trip out.
The evening was spent in pursuit of information on the prospect of Lake District Whisky (I kid you not).
