Just before the snow...

I had arrived early for my meeting this afternoon with Caryn, a consultant colleague. With 15 minutes to spare, I took the chance for a short stroll around part of Balbirnie Golf Club in Fife. It looked lovely, if rather deserted. It was really cold.

I have been thinking on taking up golf again, after a gap of many, many years, and just seeing a course brought back many happy, as well as frustrating, memories.

However, my stroll was also a reminder of the vagaries of our Scottish weather. No more than 5 minutes after this photo was taken, the first snow flakes began to fall, eventually leading, not to a heavy snowfall, but a sustained light shower of snow for at least the next 2 hours.
