Seagulls over Kirkcaldy

I was walking along the esplanade in Kirkcaldy at around 4.20pm wondering what to Blip today, and I then realised that there were even more seagulls than normal swooping around. I know not why. Anyway, I thought I'd try and get a photo of some birds in flight, and this is the result.

Its funny how light can play with an image. These were both seagulls, but because I presume the sun was low and the angle of shot, one of the gulls looks almost black like a raven.

But I like the shot, so today's Blip it is.
