Another image of the ever-increasing level of the River Severn, which rises in the hills of North Wales, and wends its way south, eventually entering the Bristol Channel. Bewdley, where this photo was taken, has effective flood barriers. The railings pictured, which come up to about chest height on an adult, are the "wrong" side of those flood defences.
