i had to spend 3 hours in telford today while i waited for my car to be fixed. telford is not a nice town. in fact, it's hardly even a town. it's just a big undercover shopping centre with about as much character as katie price. i know the thought of 3 hours in a shopping centre would be a lot of girls idea of heaven, but i'd rather spend 3 hours in a dentist's chair. seriously.

so i took some work along with me and settled down with a delicious roasted hazelnut latte in costa. then realised that my phone had no reception in costa and the mechanic would not be able to call me when the work was done.

then discovered that only place with decent reception was mcdonalds. you can probably imagine the deep level of joy i experienced at that discovery.

mechanic bill was less that i was expecting though. every cloud.....
