Only Connect

Tentative hellos,
Visual thoughts and minds connect,
Then, too soon, goodbyes.

An international blipmeet no less! .... DHThomas was over from Paris for a visit, so we met at the Science museum to go and see the This is England exhibition.... second visit for me, but it'as so good it bears repeated visits. After we came out we were quizzed by a lovely clipboard bearing lady, who had just interviewed Tony Ray-Jones' daughter, who had apparently recounted her memories of helping her dad in the dark room ... how amazing was that ... a few minutes earlier and we might have met her.

Anyway, a bit of time wandering around to find somewhere to eat, and ending up at a lebanese restaurant, which was lovely and very relaxed.

It was lovely to meet up, a bit odd at first of course, this knowing and not knowing someone, but we soon settled into conversation and laughter, as I hope the photo conveys (?).

Then time to head off our separate ways, with hurried goodbyes at the tube station ...

I'm sure we will meet again .....
