The "Barfleur" heading for Poole Harbour

This photo was taken on Studland Beach, looking northwards across the Harbour towards Poole and Bournemouth. The Barfleur, run by Brittany Ferries, then provided a regular passenger service to Cherbourg in Normandy.

Clearly a cold morning, but dogs need to be walked whatever the weather.
