Modern Art.

We went for a drive around the Vale of Glamorgan today and i took this from the car as you can see. We have passed this a few times and i didn't understand what it meant. It is on the Wick Road near the Slade Organic Farm. When i got back i googled it and all became clear.
During October and November, Welsh artist Phoebe Davies has been working with Wick Young Farmers, exploring public contemporary art and the ways in which artists show work and distribute their work within local landscapes. Building upon Phoebe's previous public installation of , Elope to the Hills in 2012 , and using materials available in the location , the group have been developing a large outdoor text work installed on silage bales. The artwork explores ideas place,belonging and community.The final statement is taken from a recorded conversation at the club about how and where people can find time for themselves and the community. For these young farmers , THERE is Wick Young farmers.
