Oh lovely day

An early morning walk and everything so beautiful, especially these catkins glowing yellow in the sunshine. I'm looking forward to visiting Allanton Peace Sanctuary later on today to talk about their garden project.

Went to see 12 Years a Slave last night, Sarah said she felt as though she had been run over by a steamroller. Steve McQueens direction, the music, the acting all amazing. The idea of human beings treated as property is so repugnant.
