A sporting (but not sporty) day

I watched the occasionally ill-tempered France v Italy 6 Nations game as a fairly impartial observer. I do have some French blood going back into the dim and distant history (I think they were maybe Huguenots escaping the St Bartholomew's Day massacre) but not enough to make me partisan!

Far more importantly today, though, I watched Jenny Jones get our first ever medal on snow for the women's snowboard slopestyle. I have to admit to being a little sniffly as she took her bronze!

I'm now settling down to Top Gear with a pint of IPA. Great end to a fab weekend.
